I was slightly perturbed to receive a card in the mail the other day to say that my Domino subscription, (which ended earlier this year when the magazine ceased publication), will be replaced with Glamour.
Glamour? Please tell me how that could possible replace Domino? I was all set to call the 800 number and spend (waste) my time complaining at the injustice. But before that I decided to spend (waste) a bit of time going through some old bookmarked blogs.
Low and behold, I came across Joanna Goddard's blog A Cup Of Jo and upon further browsing I discovered this clip that she had posted to the blog she writes for Glamour.
Did you find it? I hope the link worked because i dont have the time right now to post the you tube video straight here.... and its hilarious!
It has completely renewed my faith in Glamour…. Anyone who employs a person who posts a you tube clip of a Cat with an English accent merits further support and I will be checking in regularly.
By the way, don’t you think the accent is a bit Barbara Windsor in the old "Carry-On" movies? Saucy!

I don't like Glamour too much (don't tell my best friend in Holland, who is one of the editors) but I would still take it over Domino, which I was not charmed with at all... if you want to look at a bundle of advertisements, pick any other magazine :-)

Sad to hear about the demise of Domino Magazine, although I was never a reader. However I have to thank you for introducing me to a new blog - A Cup Of Jo - Am loving her site and am loving Glamour online.
